While historically support positions such as
receptionists, secretaries, administrative
assistants and other positions have been filled on a
temporary basis with contract workers supplied by
employment services companies until permanent
associates are hired, it is becoming more common for
project or department managerial positions to be
filled with contracted employees on a temporary
basis as well also until permanent appointments are
made.
